Who uses GMail as a client for POP3 email?

    Any of you use Gmail as a client for your POP3 email? I see that it can be setup 2 ways, and wondering which you use and any problems youve come accross.

    Method 1 is by using the functionality within Gmail at add up to 5 POP3 accounts. Problem im finding with this is theres no way to set poll frequency. Google checks it based on how often they find mail there. Currently for me, its checking mail 1 X /hour. No good.

    Method 2 is CCing your POP3 mail to you gmail account, and setting up Gmail to "send mail as". Problem with this is that it leaves all mail on your server. So you have to remember to log in every once in a while to clear out the old mail.
