Why are girls so complicated??

Damn, I wish they had an instruction manual.

I just had dinner with my best friend. She was telling me about all her million problems, how she does nothing but work all day and how she is fed up of everything. Since I am planning to go on a trip to the beach soon I invited her to come with me. She accepted, but then said that she has to find someone to take care of her dogs and watch out for her mother and bla bla bla and couldn't pick a frigging date...

Geez.. I am inviting her to an incredible vacation, which isn't cheap at all, and I almost have to beg for her to come???

Women... and worst of all is that I would just love to be with her in my trip, so I am just hanging here wondering what to do, I don't want to be pushy, but I would like to know a date so I can organize my plan.

Didn't you say she was your best friend? Are you sure she feels the same way? Seems a line might be close to being crossed...

You think she is complicated now, what till you get married... It never ends!

Since she's being ditzy you could plan the trip for yourself around the dates you would like and tell her when it is. There is nothing wrong with that.

Alternatively, give her a deadline (the end of next week) and tell her you have to begin making arrangements. This puts pressure on her though, so you could opt for option 1. ;)

You've told us you need to know a date off her so you can make plans, but you haven't told her that. There is the problem!

Well... we both know that... and are willing to cross it. It is like a forbidden game, we have been friends for 12 years and flirted and played around all this time, but nothing serious. Now that we are both single we are willing to take the games to the next level...

Yeah, that's a good idea, I could tell her something like there are going to be some events at the hotel and booking a place after certain date will not be possible... hmm... interesting idea... :D

When a girl start to freak out like that, you take her hands and tell her: we can take your dog and your mother with us if you want :D:D:D

Huh? She needs to set some stuff up and will no doubt need to recruit volunteers for the various tasks so must wait till that is done before confirming a date.

Girls complain. It's what they do. It seems that if they aren't complaining about something they are not happy - my hair is too short, my hair is too long, I work too hard, I don't work enough I'm bored, we never go anywhere, we go places all the time. There is a reason guys tune out women after a while.

If I were friends with this chick, I'm not sure I'd want to "take it to the next level". If you break up or things don't work out, you've just lost a close friend too. I've been there and I wouldn't do it again.

    Ahaha so true!

I am not happy unless I have something...anything...to moan about.

Females aren't complicated, just different... you just have to spend a year or two away from them not thinking about them and all of the sudden everything clicks. I used to always think all the time "why is she doing that?" "why do they like romance novels and movies?" "why do they cry all the time?" "why do they create BS in their lives then complain about it?" etc... but now it's all so clear... it's like being in the matrix... I can tell what they are going to do before they even do it.

There are probably some books you can read on the subject (female psychology/behavior) if you are interesting in figuring them out.

I haven't read this whole thread. But my adivce would be to plan it and tell her when you're going.

Women like when a guy can just grab control of everything.

Maybe her dogs and mother can all look out for each other.

    I like Rob's advise..

BTW, in the Bible husbands are told to live with their wives in an understanding way. I think God knows what he is talking about and it doesn't mean it is easy.

My daughter when she was about 6 asked me "dad, why do girls always change their minds?" I almost lost it laughing.

My oldest son has come to me a couple of times now trying to figure out why his girlfriend goes from crying about one thing to being mad about something else. LOL

I married my bestfriend and I only knew her for about 9 months when we got married.

maybe because she's not too keen to go with you and the excuses are just her way of telling you that she's not interested in you
she has known you for long and believe me she knows your feelings about her, rather than hurting your feelings by saying NO she's giving you all the signals that she doesn't feel the same as you do.....
there are a million others fry, move on...

Sounds familiar... My wife and I have been married for 4 years, but where friends/together for about 13 years.

    Sometimes it works!
