Why are there so many "what is love" threads?

It's most likely link builders trying to get there sig link shown for the love niche. Could just be spammers killing some time. You could help the moderators out by reporting duplicate threads and stuff.

 

Yeah there is too much obsession for love in people at DP. In fact it is love for their work coming out in the form of such threads.

 

Shouldn't we tell these "likbuilders" that their signatures aren't actually visible to not logged in visitors (e.g. Google)? I kinda feel sorry for them.

 

Stupid spammers for post count and trying to get likes. Or maybe they are pathetically lonely and desperate for love.

It's funny when the penny drops and they realise their spamming has been worthless ("DP is of no use to me", getting angry or something else stpid).

 

Do you see any reason why the new "3 likes rule" shouldn't be also applied for preventing morons from posting in this sub-forum? I don't.

Maybe then we might have actually intelligent conversations here (instead of silly threads e.g. "What does your poo smell like?").

 

Due to how busy I am right now (and probably for the next month or so), this is one of the few parts of the forum I have time for. Going by the constant putrid state of it, I think you're right. Three likes at least.

 

probably because nobody really knows what it is. many people think they know but they have no idea, and the ones who have an idea, rarely feel it for real.

 

maybe because love is the one thing people can not comprehend

a poet once wrote

People don't have much love in their life? - So, they ask what is love, as they have yet to experience it?

Or, like others have suggested, they are spammers.
