Why are Wednesday's so busy?

am i the only one who experiences super duper busy wednesdays? For some reason, these seem to be the most busy & productive days of my business.

Well, it is probably because it is the middle of the week. People who work the typical 5 day week would be gearing down for the weekend from friday and then when they get back to work on monday, they may still be trying to get over the events over the weekend. Tuesday they should be switching back to gear and wednesday would be the peak of that experience before the wind down on friday.

 

Very confusing post there eddy2099, I would have thought weekends would be more popular then wednesday.

 

last wednesday for me in high school... i had 9 test grades, kinda weird i was only enrolled in 6 classes o_o

Yeah. Wednesdays are generally my best traffic days.

 

haa haa.. I was distracted when I posted that.

I guess it depends on what kind of business you are in. Weekends are always time for me to wind down and to relax. That is when I would not want to do any work.

Although Monday is the first work day, it usually takes me some time to get back into the work mode.

 

Same here, i was looking just today at my traffic stats and thinking why are wednesdays the busiest day for my site?

 

When I was working at an office, I used to spend half of my Fridays just browsing the internet.

That was a fun job, but it wasn't something I had a future with.

 

Yea man i get tons of traffic on Wednesday its the 2nd busiest day! Saturday is the busiest

 

I find Friday to be my busiest day. I slack off so much during the week that all day Friday I am racing the clock to catch up.

 

I get to see some stats for big sites and the trend are same. Monday is slow. Tuesday it gears up a little. Wednesday is the busiest and the peek. It falls accordingly from Thursday. Saturday and Sunday there is a fall in traffic.

 

It all depends what is your site about. Free game sites probably have more traffic at weekends and information sites have more traffic on Wednesday. Probably because older people are away from computer on weekends and after weekend they start surfing on the site searching for information till they get satisfied by the end of Wednesday.

 

Wednesdays are my biggest traffic days for my computer security blog too.

 

Sunday's, Monday's and Tuesdays are my best days. I think its because people want their items by the weekends.

 

We find mondays and tuesdays are busy for our Virtual Office business but Weekends are busy for our classified automotive sites. Just depends on what your site is about.

 

The weekends are usually the biggest for me.

 

Because on Wednesdays it's too late for Monday's duties and with just 2 more working days before the week ends, people get panic

 

I find Monday mornings are the best days for traffic for me. Perhaps its because they don't want to settle into work.

Actually wednesday is the day we really get into the day for working. so, you feel its a busy day. weekends we thought relaxing days, Monday we will be slow in process doing work. Wednesday we will be in super active mode to work on. My personal opinion.

 

yes Wednesday is really business day. I think because of middle of the week.
