why cant i view source

    im using ie and i just cant use the view->source link on the browser nothing happens at all?

    is there a setting somewhere?

    is it me?

    am i crazY?

    If you are using MSIE, empty the cache
    (Tools -> Internet Options -> Delete Files)

    That happened to me a few years ago. I couldn't view Alt text either.

    I found a really simple fix for it.

    It's also a good idea to go to Start | Run and type in %temp% and empty that folder too. Often gets clogged up.

    I had the same problem once. No error, no popup, just nothing when you clicked 'view source'. By incident I cleared the cache and view source worked again ... My educated guess is that IE stores the .html file in the Cache folder before opening notepad but failes if the cache is alread full.
