Why do general ('Help Hurricane victims', etc) AdSense appear on my blog??

Hi
since almost a week I see only "General" AdSense on my blog (http://atrickaday.blogspot.com) - the ones with 'Help hurricane victims' etc.

The strange thing is that in the past I saw "right" ads on my blog (my blog is about dog tricks and Google showed dog training links and other useful resources).

Could anybody help me?

Hurricane ads are PSA's (public service announcements ) i.e. non-paying ads. The problem is your "PLay Dead" post (it's triggered Google's "Stop Words" list would be my guess). You'll notice that the PSA appears only on two pages -- your front page where the "Play Dead" post shows, and on the "Play Dead" post itself. You might want to archive Play Dead now so it doesn't appear on the front page.

 

Damn, never ever thought of that. Gotta do some research on that one.

 

Here is a list I found of words to avoid w/ asdense. death, kill, die, etc all trigger psa's.

The new console allows you to pick if you'd like Google to display a PSA, a solid color or your own ad is there is no advertiser. I love that. When there's no ad to display for me I have my own ads. Great
