It is the same in most megacities in the world... my friends in bigger cities like Mumbai and Delhi waste as much as 4 hrs everyday traveling to and back from work.

Calling Americans lazy is ridiculous. Out of all the Western countries, Americans tend to work way more hours compared to most. The culture is also more focused on efficiency than most.

You can have the "best" economic system in the world, but without the people, it would mean nothing. Otherwise, every country would implement this "perfect" economic system, and become a superpower in no time.

Are you trying to say "smart people" ??? Tell you the truth America's economy is in super drains - billions and billions of dollars of debt - worst in American history.

All that glitters is not gold :)

There is no country with perfect economic system. Every country has pros and cons.

It's not the worst in American history, and the badget deficit is not a good measurement of the state of an economy. In terms of dollar amount, yes, it is the highest. However, relative to GDP, it is not. America had times where the government was 50% of the economy with high deficit levels.
Deficits are inevitable in Keynesian economic model where countercyclical fiscal policy is implemented; The goal of the macro policy is to balance the economy, not the budget.
Now do you have anything else to say?

Very well said! I was born in Italy and then move to the U.S. when I was 7. Things were a lot different there, I just remember it being dirty.. LOL My dad was from the U.S. so he always loved it here, mom got use to it and since her family is all here now, she never wants to go back...

Anyone that doesn't like it here and lives here, why stay? No country is perfect, but we should be thankful that we are in a country that we have the freedoms that some only dream about.. We are hated by the non-Christian religions because we have a choice and that we are a superpower. Anyone that has a dream, can work hard and have the "American Dream". Not to mention, in third world countries, Women are still treated like property and are subservient to men!!!
