    Dear members,

    I know this topic has been debated several times on several platforms, but in my personal opinion considering several factors, Google plus could be the long term winner if they are capable of doing all that FB is doing and may be much more.

    Google has come up with several innovative features like Google+ Authorship, Google+ Hangounts, Brand pages that can join communities, etc. In addition the brand support from some super successful products that google already owns like YouTube, Android, Google Maps, Google Search etc will certainly boost reasons why Google+ will grow enormously.

    Google+ has 100 million active users approximately when compared to the whooping 700 million for Facebook, but google plus is seen to be growing faster, really fast with the features plus the reason they encourage business social networking..

    G+ is definitely better for webmasters and site owners,
    because it's Google product and Google is number 1
    search engine right now.

    But on the other hand it's likely that G+ will never beat
    up FB regarding popularity, because FB started first.

    Still, I think we should use both of them, because of
    options like creating a business page.

    It does not matter which one is better. In the long run, no one knows what might come as a winner. There are quick ups and down and people do get bored of same. Sometimes back, it was yahoo, then google and now Facebook. You can never predict.

    Even though FB came first, again we remember many others who came even before like orkut, myspace, friendster etc. Its the "being real" factor of FB that is driving it to the top. Hope FB continues to be the same. Yes, for us webmasters its a great idea to use both to our benefit.

    Facebook has much bigger popularity and more users than G+... But Facebook isn't made so much for business, but still you can get a lot of traffic using Facebook I think.. I used both and it goes really fine.

    Google+ was primarily made to compete with Facebook and google+ is more secure compared to facebook, yet the application and features of Facebook is still astounding.

    I agree with the fact that " Nothing lasts for ever" and There's always a better idea!
    But not with mousetraps ;) because, now the competition is so so very tough that people are very selective, choosy and dont forgive mistakes even though social networking is free..

    The key is to continuously evolve. If Facebook continues to be interesting and evolve to catch up with its users needs, then they will continue to stay on top. Google + was initially created to compete with Facebook, but I think it's standing solidly on its own now as a network for professionals (web owners, business owners, bloggers, etc.)

    Exactly! It is very true that Google+ is evolving into a different stand and not directly competing with FB except for the social aspect. Otherwise clubbed with Google authorship, it has become a powerful business networking tool.

    There might be some issues on which u can say that Google plus is best but the when we see the big picture we see that addicts of FB is much more than Plus.:)

    you are right, Facebook leads G+ over a huge margin based on the numbers, that is one big advantage FB having already captured a good share of the market. But the fast growth of G+ is also alarming..

    google + is more better than facebook cauze :
    1_forums so great & very helpful
    2_you can make hangout and talk with over 7 persons also make record for this conversation & upload it on youtube.
    3_very safety & you must put your real name & be obvious
    4_ seo in google when you put unique content about any topic and share with more friends also take more + your nich or blog post will be in the first page in seo
