I love candies, but sugar-free candies brings different taste than a sugar made candy.

Because most sweeteners are made of sucralose and sucralose is not digested or absorbed by our bodies. Because of that you may have that weird aftertaste. I can't stand sweeteners. If I drink too much sugar free soda it can literally make me feel sick.

It's like when you try a normal cola then a diet cola, there's a massive difference in taste (and that artificial sweetener that gets used in diet sodas is bad for you anyway. Don't know what artificial sweetener gets used in sweets that are sugar free)

You know, it's funny but I have been drinking sugar-free drinks for so long now that when I drink a sugar sweetened drink, it tastes super-sweet and seems syrup-y to me. Just shows you what you can used to...

I was recently in a chocolate shop where they not only make their own chocolates but sell imported chocolates as well. I am used to buying Belgian or Swiss chocolates but I noticed some sugar free peanut butter filled chocolates from New Zealand of all places.(Never thought of NZ as a chocolate producing country) I bought them and they are so good they are to die for. They are made by a company that goes by the name of Whittaker's. Ever hear of them?

If you want a cheap chocolate you go for Cadburys
If you want quality (and not much more expensive) you go for Whittakers.

They're innovative and deserve the success they've had. Pleased to see that their exporting efforts are successful.

If you're ever looking for something really quirky keep an eye out for Lewis Rd Creamery's chocolate liqueur. Not a hint of coffee. Yum.
