    Book marking in digg is more useful then other because it is very useful in web promotion. when you book mark in digg your book mark show on google within 6 minute. Through the digg you can divert huge traffic on your site.

    The only reason i can say is huge traffic. One can gain good amount of traffic from digg as its really a good social bookmarking site having high page rank.

    I think digg becomes popular through word of mouth. It also becomes popular because of its voting system which makes people hooked to submit their stories.
