    Hi everyone,

first post here, so please excuse me if i did anything wrong.
Content management seemed the best section for my question...

    I'm looking for some input.

    Sketching the scene
I would like to set up a website where people can upload, manage, update en download documents (in this case workshops)
They are currently all in the form of different Ms word docs scarcely distributed on a couple of cd's and mailed around on an on-demand basis. ie: person x sends an email requesting info on this or that topic and we send them the most appropriate workshop(s).

    The idea & the problem
The initial idea was to set up a wiki, in which each workshop would get it's own page and people could update it or add to it.
But we are not catering to the most tech-savy crowd here. They know how to use MsWord, but there's a huge difference between msWord and using a wiki.

    the Search for a solution
So i'm looking for a more userfriendly solution

    The requirements:
    ability to
    - upload word docs (yes i am aware of the docs2wiki script, but its a hassle)
    - edit/update them online
    - download/print them again as worddocs or pdf's

! it should be either userfriendly or have the ability to be easily themed/modded to make it so.

    less important
    ability to:
    - add comments (not in the doc itself)
    - incorporate the whole thing into drupal

The ideal thing to have would be something very much like google docs that we can host ourselves. (i don't want everyone to have to create a google account)

    Any idea's ??

ah yes i forgot to mention: it should be as free as possible :)
so getting it custom made is at this point not an option

i have absolutely no idea how you would get that to work with vbulletin, but if it's got all the requirements i summed up, i'm all ears.
