    Hi,

although I registered just a few seconds ago I have been a DP forum reader and fan for quite a long time and I like it here very much here.

Ok - I just thought some of you might be interested in a new wiki farm service that I have been developing in the last couple of months. I have just completed the first phase of tests and I would be very thankful if anyone would be interested in some more thorough testing.

Wikidot has several quite cool features such as:

    - free wiki site for everyone (that is the idea).
    - groups of users can collaboratively edit content
    - advanced permissions and roles system
    - many add-ons, e.g. forum for each site
    - private messages between users
    - AJAX, Web2.0 and many other buzzwords ;-)
    - valid XHTML!!!
    - many settings, including free domain mapping

If anyone is interested in testing (or just curious to check ot) this project there are a few links:

http://www.wikidot.com - the main site, list of features
http://www.wikidot.com/doc - documentation, including our wiki syntax description. see this for an overview of features
    http://sandbox.wikidot.com - site for experiments ;-)

The problem at the moment is that there is only one CSS theme. Although admins can create custom themes for their sites - it requires some CSS knowledge.

Wikidot is a project in development and what you can see is something like an "alpha" version. This also refers to language mistakes (I am from Poland!)

One more thing - there is an option of "revenue sharing" based on rotation of AdSense identifiers. But this will be available soon to sites with good quality content.

Thanx for your time. I hope some of you would help me testing the project in the wild... ;-) I know this message is short and does not cover the whole topic but anyway... thanx!

    best regads
