Will Google have problems with this Image ads placement?

    Hello guys,

Have been following this forum for a long time and finally got the need to get your help.

I read somewhere that placing Image ads near images will bring trouble from Google. Can you guys please cast your expert eyes in this photo gallery website and let me know if this okay?

    Thanks!

Thanks uploas for your time to check my site.

Anyone else feels that this Image ads placement could be debatable?

Sorry for bumping this thread. The last thing I want is a enquiry from Google.

Any other feedback will be greatly appreciated.

I hope everyone here understands my concerns about a slightest chance of a policy violation which could ruin days and days of hard work because of a ban.

    Hi,
I think that the best thing to do is to obey the TOS of AdSense. Do not try to challenge AdSense TOs or else the AdSense account will be in danger.

    Thanks sdas.

I agree with you but the TOS is not crystal clear. DO you think my adsense placement in the image gallery is debatable?

There should be some distance beween images and ads so that they should not be clicked accidently.

Why don't you just ask the google team. From the advertiser point of view things are not that bright. People want to click on the images to see the content but they are going to click on the ads, and right after that they will close the advertiser page or go back to your website, resulting no real value for them.

I suggest you do two things:

    1. Go ahead and make a screenshot of your ad placement.

    2. Remove the ads, and ask for a review if you are allowed to place an ad like this to the adsense team by using the adsense forum or the support feature, and also show the screenshot so that they will know exactly what you are talking about.

If you get a positive answer this way from the Adsense staff, you can go ahead and keep the ads, if not rethink your website.
The adsense team will sooner or later notice your ad placement since your CTR will be a lot higher than the average, and it might result in a ban, you definitely don't want that.

Just search for information around the forums, and other websites about adsense, and you will be able to develop the perfect template for your website that has a good CTR, and it doesn't disturb anyone, this is the secret of success.

Thanks for your valuable reply dapyx!

I agree with you that sooner or later they will look into this and there is always a possibility of a ban!

I have posted in the Adsense blog and mailed the Google Adsense team with links to my website asking them for a review. But do you think I should remove the ads before they review?

Once again, one of the most valuable reply!
