well Google is pumping more money in their own social network and everyone it anticipating that with the new Ajax and the open source part it will blow myspace and facebook out of the water. I guess this is revenge since facebook didn’t want to sell :)

I highly doubt microsoft will buy facebook, as they bought a share of facebook already. On the other hand, who knows, the world is crazy now-a-days.

thats retarded, facebook is about to pass google for traffic and facebook is one of the only pure websites on the internet. People don't just up and leave facebook profiles and history. Theres nothing google can do to go after facebook, facebook doesnt rely on google for anything.

microsoft doesn't have it in them to run a social network site they would kill it even if they buy facebook. Facebook will turn into another myspace saga

with microsofts purchase of skype, i think that the company will not make another major acquisition until mid-late 2012. Its currently focusing on the mobile and os markets

I don't think mark zuckerberg will do any such deals. Unless facebook is threatened with the traffic there is no way they're going to make deals with other business. MS may integrate their service with facebook but buying it is kinda hard to imagine for now.
