    Just wonder, all these while I'm using photoshop to prepare my template. Will this still be the best option? Any comments?

    Photoshop by far is the industry standard. Some people who cannot afford Photoshop use Gimp, but by far Photoshop is the most widely used. However, when it comes to logo design Adobe Illustrator is quite popular as well because it creates vectorized designs. This is also used in print work.
