I just installed windows 7 ultimate edition on my computer 2 days ago I got it for free from a Microsoft promo with house party, Anyway Ive not had a chance to fully test everything but so far it's great I prefer it over Vista & XP It's runs a lot faster.

If anyone is looking to buy Win 7 buy it now on eBay signature ultimate editions are going for a reasonable price people are selling there party packs they got for free for cheap right now!!

I still prefer XP. I'll wait for a stable release of Windows 7 before getting it. BTW, I wonder what changes Windows made in Vista in the Service Pack 2. Anyone know??

I honestly don't know how Microsoft can sustain itself. They will eventually run themselves into the ground in the future as they continue to make more software and support more software that goes with their OS's. For each new piece of software that comes with Windows, they have to pay techs to maintain it. Each new OS keeps on coming with new advance software for the same price as the previous OS. In the future, how can they continue to charge $199 for and still have to support 100's of new software that comes with the OS's? This business model makes no sense to me... oh well i'm not the one getting paid billions to figure that out.

I think MS's business model is working out just fine. ie you pay for a license to use their software.

Now think of companies with 1000's of computers, each one has to have license for both the desktop itself AND any servers they need to access.

I think that Windows7 looks better than XP with similar functionality. And crashes are really uncommon, that's what I like about it!

Windows 7 and Vista both are good. But I like to use windows 7 most. The vista is little bit slower than windows 7. I don't no about windows 8 but i am really happy enough by using windows 7.

Windows 7 is the best and it is the latest version in windows 7 and windows going to launch the windows 8. so only few people will use the windows xp for older computers.
