I currently use windows xp. Probably will continue to use it until this computer gives up the ghost. Windows xp does everything I need it to do.

But I'll get out of the past once I get a new computer. lol

Unless you have a pc thats old and has 1gb of ram i would say win7 without question. If your pc does have 1gb of ram then you really have no choice but to use xp.

I would vote for Win 7 as it is faster, has more error handling mechanisms, powerful firewall, attractive WM Player. It takes less installation space and time as well.

In my opinion, both are good. I prefer Windows 7 over Windows XP. XP is definitely very user friendly.

    Kind Regards,

I am still with XP on a machine that could easily run Win 7. Just have not found a compelling reason to update yet.

I would prefer Windows XP because the compatibility of Windows XP is much better than Windows 7.I also have used Windows vista and it was really a disaster, but this is the time to move forward i.e. from Windows XP to Windows 7.

I am using windows 7 and i think it's much more convenient than vista and XP. I don't know many people who still use Xp and all my friends are using windows 7 too. I can't wait for MS to release windows 8

I like both Win XP and Win 7. But, if I'll have to choose one, I'll go for Win 7 for sure. Win 7 has more GUI. It is faster and attractive as well. Win 7 takes less installation time as well as space.
