i really liked windows xp and hated windows vista and now i love windows 7 but that doesnt exclude the possibility of using windows xp, it just depends on the computer we are going to install it, in my case i have a core i7 920 with 6gb of ram and for a 64bits architecture the best windows is windows 7 but for a old computer like my previous one its better if it stays with windows xp (amd 2200+ with 1.5gb of ram)

Ahhh, the joys of when the best windows platform ever was Windows '98. Then all the other garbage that came out after...then Windows XP PRO! Hehe, you can tell which 2 are my favorites. Havn't tried out 7 yet, but would like too. I hear mixed reviews. My question about how microsoft works is... Why do they have to push out their products really fast only for them to crash or mess up. Like when windows 2000 came out? I think that was it...correct if i'm wrong..when they hosted a video online showing it and it bluescreened? Funny!

C'mon guys! For how long will we keep on using old stuff?...I mean Windows Xp. XP is 7 years old now.

Before 2008 I always used XP and I loved it. But in March 2008 I bought a new laptop which had Vista pre-installed. I was going to uninstall Vista and use XP, because everyone was against Vista. But I couldn't find my laptop drivers for XP and I stick to Vista instead. Its been an year now that I am using Vista and I am loving it. I don't find a single thing that I have to complain of. And its way too better than XP for me.

I tried Windows 7 and it was great. But since it was in beta I uninstalled it and sticked to Vista.

I'll sure be using Windows 7 as the final version releases. I hate to stick to old stuff.

And... Don't always trust online reviews. If you really want to know how a product is, try it yourself.

    Thanks

I'll stay at XP, I have a desktop with Windows XP and my laptop with Vista, and so far, I have more loyalty to XP still. I don't trust Windows 7 yet, lol.

I like Vista a lot better than XP. XP is too unsecure. It's so easy to break into a locked password protected XP machine. I'll also be upgrading to Windows 7 when it comes out.

Yes , its true... that xp is really fast in terms of booting, But i recommend you to use windows7 because it made so expensive for masses people. It really fast if your machine past in the standard requirement's of windows7. Just read all the instructions from microsoft website. Im using windows7 now , very cool in terms of innovation. I love microsoft.,. Our reality world has/had a virus. And i thing windows fit for our world. Mac ,Linux,Unix... Its not fit to our world.
