Windows problems!

Just recently my laptop hard drive packed in so I had to get a new 1 and install all my programs again.

Since installing the new hard drive almost every time I click a link on a web page without going to "open in a new page" the page completely freezes up.

Has anyone ever had this problem or knows how to fix it?

if haven't updated SP2 for Xp do it ASAP. XP without it is an open invitation to malwares. also you can try to upgrade IE to 7 beta. its little better than ie 6

Can't you get FF or Opera in Ireland, Weirfire? :p

Seriously, if you're running XP without the SP's, the computer is wide open.

you can get media from any where or just ask MS or your Laptop provider to ship it again. MS don't mind any use of media. only they are concern with key (it should be registerd with them)
