It's a cool pic, the full size one looks great because you can see the mist over the moors, from the pic it doesn't look that high, but walk closer to the edge and you'd see the full effect lol

 

I know some places have outdoor hot tubs right in with the snow but you would think that would be awfully cold on any skin above water level!

Yeah, I think I would rather just sit in a pub and have dinner like we did after the walk. There's plenty of time for hot tubbing when I get home lol

Darren, that's a wicked pic. It's often tricky to convey the depth of the scene but this one looks good. Like to see the full res one Did you get your mountain bike from eBay in the end ?? You'll be able to blast up Ilkley Moor a bit quicker and take more photos.

Lever, aye I got the bike - Ilkley is not the best place to mountain bike, so I'm looking for some good spots for Sunday.

I did a 20k mountain bike decent down Mount Wellington in Tasmania, Australia last year and it was awesome! You didn't need to pedal just sit on the bike and you flew down! lol Some sharp corners and traffic to contend with too!

Cool. That's one awesome HIGH descent - I hate climbing but downhill is the best (old Newtonian me ) I'll give you a shout next time I'm up Hebden Bridge way I wanna do the RoundHay, the Phoenix and that pub next to the bowling green if they're still there...

LOL, no it is not me, Anthony, it's Vivian from "The Young Ones" - probably the best sitcom we've done over here in er... 20 odd years. There's no real punks, hippies, lefties or real student types here anymore, just a load of egotists and fakers And then there's some genuinely cool people, though they're few and far between. Most of them seem to end up here though

 

Yeah man, I am too old to run around after somethings, so just come out with it in the future or I lose interest fast.

 

No worries Anthony, muchos respectos I gotta hit the hay now, it's been a good evening - fun and certainly kept the grey matter ticking over, that's what it's all about.
