With all the hype of RSS/XML, why are people even making static pages .html .php anymore?

Why doesn't everyone design a site with a RSS feed on every page?

Please explain this to me why we do not see this happening if RSS is so good for real time information.

I would say xml/rss complements static website... we shouldn't rule out one or the other ;)

Yes, I understand that, but why even bother with static pages anymore?

Why not RSS everything on the net?

Do you understand what I am saying here anyone? What is stopping people from just RSS/XML ing their entire sites?

Just out of curiosity, if my site was RSS only, how would I run a forum, for example? I mean, sure, they can get a feed of the new threads, but how would those threads be created in the first place? It doesn't really make sense to do anything 'user interactive' through an RSS reader I don't think, as all you're doing is moving it from one medium to another with no benefits.
