Intalling Woocommerce is easy and since wordpress comes with an installation wizard, you do not have to alter any files. Configuring Woocommerce is also a pretty straightforward process. One of the advantage of using Woocommerce is that it is a very user friendly system. As far as customer’s ease of use is concerned, it depends on you.

Especially if it's a smaller e-commerce site, WooCommerce is the best i think... Easiest to set up, not so congested with code as some of the others, its well favoured by Google, loads of great free Wordpress plugins available and the user interface is outstanding!

WooCommerce is the best platform to run your ecommerce store. Normally, WooCommerce can be deployed at WP installations. It will give you your ecommerce store right away. You have asked that why one should use it. In today's world, where we believe in whiz and we want the fastest working e-sotres, it is also necessary for optimizing the store speed for the SEO purposes. Indeed, when it comes to WordPress, optimized hosting providers have the game. Now when we talk about features, community of WordPress is looking for the Varnish compatible WooCommerce because in a research, Varnish Cache can boost the speed of ecommerce store more than 100%. While searching for some code or other stuff I found problems of internet forums. Long discussions on WordPress.org and VarnishCache forums but no results.

In this search for the best solution, I found the news on CNBC that some folks from Cloudways comes up with the best solution of Varnish powered WooCommerce. They separated WooCommerce from WP and using it as a completely separate app. I went to try and launch a test website with them. With the one-click install, I had my WooCommerce store on DigitalOcean 512mb droplet within a few minutes. They also have Amazon as an option. I highly recommend to launch your ecommerce stores here http://www.cloudways.com/en/woocommerce-hosting.php

Other than that, I prefer PrestaShop. I really like the design and infrastructure. It is new in compare to the other ecommerce platforms. But, it has a rising community. You can find them easily on different social channels tackling the questions and queries. There are many features built in PrestaShop. Many of them are no match for Magento, but in most cases they are sufficient for beginners and intermediate online shop owners. Overall it is really great to give a kick-start. One thing that hits me to the negative shot is that those of a few basic scripts free in other ecommerce stores are paid in PrestaShop.
