    Nice job! Don't stop now!

And I wouldn't get too excited. You're site could vanish at any time.

the question is, is it an oft-searched for keyword? there could be more financial value (traffic-wise) in being page 2 for a very popular keyword, than page 1 with a very rare and unpopular keyword!

It's the product name of what I'm selling, so it's the best one for me.

I hope not, I put in a lot of work to get there, Maybe I can hit #1 when I'm out of the sandbox, I'm at # 9 now, was at # 14 for about 2 weeks.

    Congrats roman!

I have recently made it to page 1 for some of my main keywords as well and it feels good. Be careful though because you can wake up and find yourself on page 5 in no time at all.

Just for note, I had a keyword density of over 20%. About 3 days ago i replaced a lot of them with "it'. Density is now at just over 10%. This was the first update on Google for my site since then. Guess less is better.

If you are #9, Isn't that mean you are out of sandbox???

I don't think sites in sandbox can get that kind of ranking....

    Just Curious,

The site is about 1 month old, my search term returns 177k results and I think I optimized it pretty well. I hope I'm still in the sandbox, as then it can only get better.

You aren't in the sandbox if you're getting first page rankings.

Almost certainly just a coincidence, especially with Google.

Maybe I'm the best SEO in the world...dreaming, I did read some articles about density and it seems about 8 - 9% is ideal.

I read those articles, as well as many more. When it comes to SEO, I'm just a wuffo. (In paragliding it refers to the people at launch with no clue asking 'what's that for'). In my honest opinion, from my experience, I believe there is a threshold for Key Word Density, and it seems like it's about 10%. This is my opinion, and remember, I'd never take the advice of a waffo before hurdling myself off a mountain as I know better.

Is it a domain that you just recently registered, or has it been around for a while but you just recently started optimizing?

I registered it a month ago, it is new. I optimized it to the best of my ability, then came to this forum, learnt, and optimized some more. I kept repeating this process, now I'm somewhat happy.

    Keep in mind:

    Results 1 - 10 of about 197,000 for alveo.

    Not a huge key word.
