    Hi all,

I'm helping a friend move her blog.wordpress.com to a self hosted version under her own domain name. Theres a couple of things I'm puzzling over:

She has 100 ish in links to herblog.wordpress.com - how do I redirect or can I even do this as its a wordpress subdomain?

How do I import all the old posts into the new blog and keep the dates?

    Thanks!

    Many Thanks Taweesup

The blog is with Wordpress, but i assume i can do the same process for that.

Which only leaves the second problem of the incoming links to friendsblog.wordpress.com - can i do anything about 301 redirecting those to the new owned domain?

You can domain.com to your wordpress blog.
if you have hosting, you can use tools->export to export the posts.
