Wordpress plugin needed

    OK I have been getting on average around 100 spam comments on my website these past few weeks. People spaming about buying UGG boots, whatever those are. I was wondering if there was any plug-ins that would automatically kill any post that was the phrase "ugg boots". I have to approve any comments on my site but it is getting really old having to sort through them all and seeing nothing but boot adds. I know this is a long shot, but thought I would ask. Otherwise I will simply leave my settings as is and mark each one as spam.

    Thank you for your thoughts. I will keep deleting them and hope they slow down. I now know what ugg boots are at least. lol I asked someone else. If the spam continues after a few weeks I will look into that link you posted. Thank you greatly again for the feedback.

    Are you not using the Akismet plugin? That should take care of all the spam.

    I have use akismet, you ca reg on official akismet web to get api, this api can activate akismet for free

    Akismet can not stop ugg bots.
    I was spammed by ugg bots every days and skip the akismet.

    You can install a recaptcha plugin or math question plugin to reduce spams. There is a option in wordpress setting->Discussion->Comment Backlist to add a phrase you need to blacklist.

    I would recommend handling it with your htaccess file. I'm not sure if I can put a url here, by you can easily find instructions for the code if you write in Google: wordpress htaccess security.
