Wordpress updates after rebranding

    Hello Everyone!

    I am considering rebranding Wordpress for my clients but I am unsure how to go about updating Wordpress and the plugins. I know how to do this for my site, but what should I tell my clients about necessary updates when I already told them that I created the CMS just for them? Won't they eventually find out that they were using Wordpress the entire time?

    Yes they would. ...more importantly why would you want to do this? My employer (fortune 500 company) happily pays for a proprietary distribution of Apache and tomcat. You can release your own distribution of the software. If they are just trying to buy/get a website I really don't think they care if you tell them you used a mainstream (free!) CMS software, and it might even reassure them.
