Would you pay to see what people want?

This question is to all programmers, designers and anyone really wanting to create a website.

My question is, would you pay a small fee to find out what kind of things people are looking for either a program or a type of website, etc?

yes but with google insights, you must have some idea of what to make. If there was a place where you can see what type of websites people are looking for or a program that a lot of people are interested in. Would you use it?

I'd like to be able to post things I want and talented people actually reply. Most of the websites that already offer this are just amateurs at best.

my hope is to create something that would try to stray away from simple amateurs trying to find work. Rather have prfessionals from all areas of the business, coming to see what is new in the field and what the next big thing will be.

Can you not just use the Google keyword tool and see what people are searching for?

what do you mean? when I say what is new in the field, i mean a place where they can just see a list of other peoples ideas. Normally these ideas would come from non-experienced people

This site would be more for people that don't know what they want to create, or just don't have an idea yet.

You never said "what is new in the field" in your original post. Now I have no idea what you're asking.

Good luck. There's a TON of free tools out there that make everything online super-transparent. If there's something new you can come up with, all to ya man. I'd buy it haha.
