    Go to blogger dashboard >> settings>> format and change the default option from " show 7 posts per day" to either 2 or three , this will help you to reduce the scroll area.

    I don't personally like your layout.

    Use some advanced image header white background with some small picture of the some Hippy or drug addict,write some text in RED. Put a 728 x 15 horizontal row below it . This will you in getting good CTR


    You can change to three column Adsense blogerized template, this will help you a lot
