Would you use this widget? (Increases visitor numbers)

This isn't some spammy/blackhat waffle, but a widget/site I've been working on.

The site itself is a gift-list maker, which I'm now planning to release as a widget.

I'm evaluating a) doing it, and b) what to change, based on any feedback.

A widget of this type might be useful for my holiday gift sites. Other than not having to sign up how does it differ from other apps like it?

 

What/where are these other widgets that do this? I couldn't find any.

 

When I took a look at your site I got the impression that this is much like registries such as people use for wedding gifts. Did I misinterpret the functionality?

 

Yeah, no, that's the site, but I don't see others doing this as a widget, to have embedded on your own site, that's the crucial bit.

If you have site(s) I'm looking for some early adopters, in addition to some of my own, if you'd be interested?

From every list made and shared, we get about 50 brand new visitors to the site.
