    Sure PR would drop after a while, but you'd still gain something till the whole 499 spots are filled...

    No. I believe the rule of thumb is that any page should have no more than 50 links on it. Once it goes over that amount, then even your $2 investment dries up.

    Nope. Once Google notices it's a link farm, it's not worth anything.
