    Advertising (learn more)

Advertise virtually anything here, with CPM banner ads, CPM email ads and CPC contextual links. You can target relevant areas of the site and show ads based on geographical location of the user if you wish.

Starts at just $1 per CPM or $0.10 per CPC.

Wow! What a way to integrate adsense ads.

against TOS for sure. tomorrow he probably comes here to cry for losing his account. Such a belnding is not healthy for Adsense's growth. Also, not good for us publishers in the long run.

Yes... altough perfectly blended, it's build to get clicks from user misuse...

I would say it's against TOS... (but I never read all of TOS.. ;) )

Definitely against TOS. I tried a similar setup a month or two ago. I emailed Google for approval just to be sure it was OK. The reply was:

Hi - i am the owner/coder of that directory.

You are right - G* complained (though, they did not really say what was wrong). Anyway, I changed the Ad integration and Google submitted the changes and sent a friendly mail like "thank you for working on those issues - success fur the future!".

The directory is free, uses static links, I do approve sites quickly and I am doing some SEO work in order to raise PR (it's just 2 weeks old, so currently it is PR0). I guarentee not to send any newsletter (or similar) emails.

So would be great if you all submit your sites!

    regards,
    Marc

That's quite stupid, it's almost tricking people into clicking. Is there a point at which you have blended too much and google will get angry at you?

@danbruster: see my post above. I changed the site and google is happy with the current integration. Actually now there are just 2 blocks and they are seperated from the content.

    thanks

Yes, now it is alright. No confusion. Ads are in a different box.
