Wrong interpretation due to power failure at my locality

Iam happy with my internet speed. But In the recent past I had a bitter experience with unexpected power failures at my locality. Few of my friends/clients considered me a casual guy when they see me all of sudden offline on messanger before the chating come to an conclusion. It is causing me headache and anxiety to explain them what exactly happen previous day.

The power failure situation is frequent at my locality. Especially in summer it is prominent due to heavy consumption of electricity. Iam curious to know if others too have similar power failure problem at their locality.

 

Well everybody in India face this power crisis, get yourself some backup.

I have an inverter and a generator.

There are a lot of private companies coming in electricity sector, but i personally dont think privatisation of everything is good, yes, they provide better services but they charge more than deserved.

Government should really get their act together in this department.

 

I have three years old UPS....It is only safeguarding my computer during power failures...but of no use.It is not able to provide constant power output even for 3 minutes. I will replace my UPS soon to have atleast 15minutes backup. So that I will have time to say bye bye to my online friends during the backup period.
