WTF Charlie Brown?

So I'm watching Charlie Brown with the kids, a show I haven't seen in years. Seems Lucy and Linus have a little brother named Rerun who's in Kindergarten. So he's in class and a little girl is talking to him and he suggests they go to Paris. The girl laughs, tells her parents who tell his teacher who tells the principal and Rerun gets suspended for harrasment. WTF is going on with the world.


While we're at it, where did Christmas go?

My kindergarten daughter came home about a month ago and told us that this certain boy in her class would be picking her up for dinner in a limo. I doubt my daughter even knows what a limo is.

Rerun Van Pelt is often mistaken for Linus even though he's his little brother. He can always be recognized in his trademark overalls. Rerun is more skeptical than his brother, much harder to convince, and always gets around Lucy where Linus gives in. His only fear is being the passenger on one of his mother's bicycle-riding errands. Somehow, Rerun is the only witness to her riding into grates and potholes. Luckily, he always wears a helmet. Rerun also longs for a dog of his own, but since his parent won't let him have one, he tries to "borrow" Snoopy from Charlie Brown. Snoopy won't have any part of it unless Rerun brings cookies.

Going to Paris is slang for "french kissing". The reason no one has really heard of rerun is because they sent that little child molester away to jail. I think I remember seeing that on one of the specials.

 

Ah thanks, it all makes sense and he got what he deserved, now what about Christmas, where the he11 did it go?

 

Remember when Rerun got roger and dwayne mixed up with those guys who wanted them to record a concert so they could sell it on the black market. and the band helped the gang stop those bad dudes? That was a good episode

 

Speaking of other characters that got kicked off the show: Did anyone remember Brian? He was a charcter that asked Lucy if she wanted to go Greek.

Actually I think you're referring to an episode of The A-Team. And "the bad dudes" were in a Chinese restuarant waiting to ambush the A-Team. The gang came out with ski masks and BA and the crew (outnumbered & out-gunned) took on the whole gang of armed ninjas and ended up saving the girl and her father (the Chinese restaurant owner).

 

Why didn't they just call the show The BA-Team and have Mr. T driving around in that pimp van taking out criminals by himself?

 

Cuz the guy that acted like a chicken flew them to every place BA had to go kick some ass. Without them, it'd be like watching John Madden cross the country or something.

They also needed the old dude to make lettuce cannons to shoot the bad guys with. It was really a team effort.

 

Mr. T. can do both of the things you mentioned lorien.

He can fly helicopters and he can make lettuce guns...foo'!

 

BTW- Mr. T. used to live around here and I would occasionally see him driving around in his Lincoln Town Car.

 

Wow, only on page 2 and we're on to the A Team, Magiver is sillier, but that bit in Sahara where they made the plane car sailboat thing was pretty bad too.

 

I think he's also doing a voice on a new GPS coming out soon. If you make a wrong turn, it'll insult you and stuff. He's had quite a career after A-Team.
