    Getting loads of hits does not mean a site got a huge value. It's profit that counts! How much do you earn on your website per year? Do you provide a service or do you sell products? What's the age of the website? Is your website in a category that wont be popular for long? (Such as www.iphone3g.com or something like that, there will be a 4G, 5G etc.).

    There has to be a business value in your website to be able to sell it for any "real" money.
