Yahoo's Horrible Setup

I just started getting on YSM to test out some campaigns there. Their setup is awful. You have to setup accounts for every "Market" that you want to advertise in. Let's say I want to advertise in the US, Canada, Australia, United Kingdom, and five others. I'd have to actually setup 9 different accounts and pay 9 deposits (avg. $50 a piece) in order to advertise there.

Is there something I'm missing here?

I agree. If you have a campaign for US/Canada and later decide to allow even one more country like England, you have to open up a completely new account that includes Europe in the market. You can't just change the account. And I really find the inability to just prevent a whole country within the market a real pain. If you want to just target Canada, you have to remove each US state one by one (and vice versa). I contacted Yahoo and thought I was missing something as well... I wasn't!

Yeah..it absolutely sucks. But the even weirder thing was, I had a new campaign running in US&CA...and I got a sale from NZ!!! I have no idea what to make of it.

I use Yahoo because Google is so stringent on the type of landing page. If they don't like you, they'll bump your bids to $12 or whatever essentially shutting down your advertising campaign. Even sites with unique content and directly relevant pages with titles and headers the same as the ad would be hit. And once you're shut down you really can't get out of it. Very frustrating.
