The prices start looking good, lets move on to the 900-1000 post range and see if the post frequency picks up.

Maybe that price should have the extra rule that multiple consecutive postings invalids all but the first post (or all posts), so we don't get 80 or 90 posts from the same person.

Call me dumb.. but why bother exactly ?

 

If it stays at 24 hours there will never be a winner. Once it is at 3 hours, there is a way better chance.

Seeing as how the prize package may be in the 1000's it would be a better thread if you could actually win.

If you mean Why Bother in general, you are probably right. But I'm in too deep at this point

 

To prevent any confusion, why not just pick an end date.. that way until then people will post, as the end date nears there will be a fury of posting..
Call it the forums' 3rd bday perhaps.

Personally, id have just let it run its course, but will happily go with what the majority decide.

I will also sponser $35 worth Normal Submissions for the poster who does post in between 10:45 AM - 11AM GMT on october 8. If there are many posters yfs1 decides the winner by picking one from random.

If there is no poster at the time, the prize will go to the poster who does post in same time next day.

If there is an end date, then no one will post until the last day...Kinda defeats the purpose.

By changing the 24 hour rule, I figured it would make it a little more fun

Yes, I know this thread is stupid...What can I say, I'm easily entertained.

It wasn't until the prize quickly passed $1000 that I actually started to think this thread was pretty cool.

If it ends up at $5000, that will be a pretty decent prize package for a lot of posters on here

I think its a pretty entertaining thread as it came about naturally.
The prizes are pretty good already. $1000+ worth or design etc.. hardly a kick in the teeth.

You have my approval as long as you get ministrel to throw in 20minutes of therapy to the winner too.
