Yet another "Is this placement OK?" thread!

    Hi,
Being quite new to this whole AdSense thing, I researched a lot and thought I knew everything. So I added my AdSense on my relatively new site, but now I'm reading more and more threads about peoples AdSense placement getting them into trouble, so I thought I'd change this page, I'll post it here to see what you all think.

For a start, I thought I was being clever making the URL and the text the same colour. Then I accidentally put the ads slightly under a heading, something which I didn't mean to do but thought nothing of it. Now I'm thinking it's a bit too well blended, and if/when I get more than 20 visitors per day, I don't think google would be very happy with that. But am I just being paranoid?

OK, now onto exhibit B. I know Google are fussy with images and ads, so I've gone reasonably conservative with this page. Is it still a bit too tricky though?
And are the ads down the bottom of the page alright?

And I guess I'd better mention the other type of page on my site. I don't think there's anything wrong with this, but it could possibly be blended too well (although it's not really sneaky blending) or Google might object to the ads being just below the header.

Also, and advice on AdSense placement would be appreciated, my average CTR is between 0 and 1.

    Thanks!

I think the first page is fine, the second page you shouldn't have the ad immediately below the header saying download, and the third page you shouldn't have that image to the left. Thats just my opinion though ;)

it looks just fine to me
the image can not be related that much with the ads. it looks more like a part of the design
the download page looks a little bit tricky but there are many legit sites that blend it this way
I would still send a quickie to the big G just to have it in writing

Well, here's an old email from Google about the 2ng page I mentioned, and I kind of didn't do what they said...yeah...I better get around to that

"We ask that if you have the images next to your rectangle AdSense ad unit
that you have more separation between the ad unit and the game listings."

Anyway, thanks for replies. So if making the text and the URL the same colour is OK, why isn't it popular? Does it work well? I would do some testing but I don't have enough traffic.
