Any kind of investment has two types of risk:Systematic risk and unsystematic risk.

Systematic risk is that which exists in the system. For example, inflation, geo – political situations, economic cycle and so on. This form of risk affects all investments. Systematic risk affects all investments and there is no strategy to control it.

Unsystematic risk is associated with a particular investment and has no impact on other investments.

Which is your favorite style? Taking systematic risk or choosing unsystematic risk.

Didn't we already conclude that we have absolutely no control over systematic risk? Why are you asking us which we prefer then?

I don't think Alan Greenspan would agree there's no strategy to control inflation.
