Blaming your circumstances on external forces is a sure path to failure.

You got to take 100% reponsibility for your life. Everything in your life now is the result of a thought that you had at a previous time - its only the time lag between the thought and the circumstances that you find yourself in now that doesn't make that clear.

Besides if you blame external circumstances you give control of your life over to external circumstances.

I did that globalrichlist test and since the day I was born I've been in the top 7% or better.

Lifes been easy for me and its only getting easier. In saying that there are a lot of people on this board who were probably born into even better circumstances.

I'm incredibly thankful for what I've got - even being born in the country and being bought up in the community that I was.

You may think your life is tough but if you've got time to post on this board its a lot better for you than you realise.

I'm thankful for what I have, but life is hard. I have to work my fingers to the bone and I see right before my eyes people trying to take everything I have.

I agree that you are your own worst enemy. Ultimately you make the decisions. But can you or I control a recession? Can you and I control the economy?

Absolutely not. Only the extremely wealthy and the power brokers at the FED can do it. Therefore, they have control over the money system, and they pull the punches.

Can you get rich in the US without having a masters degree? Of course you can. But you have to make big sacrifices, take big risks, and work really hard.

And you have to avoid every scam you can that will interefere with you and your business. Depsite the fact it takes years to save and build a business, make one wrong move and everything you've ever worked for can be gone in an instant.

If I ever have children, and I have a large income/net worth, I will encourage them to go to the top Ivy League schools. I can't afford to do it, because my parents screwed up from day one. I can't allow history to repeat itself.

During the great depression was the time when Jean Paul Getty went on to become the richest man in the world.

He went out and bought huge amounts of property for 10 cents on the dollar.

There's always opportunities no matter what the economic cycle.

    The economy is massive.

When its doing well its like a freight train going at *110* miles an hour.

When its doing poorly its like a freight traing going at *100* miles an hour.

There's always plenty of money to be made. Theres plenty of opportunities.

Nothing in this life is truely yours any way. All form is impermanent and you can't take nothing with you when you die. You only ever get use stuff for a certain while.
