I like Wendy's it's cheap (value menu) and it's tasty without making me feel disgusting, I'll usually get a baked potato and chili.

 

I think pizza hut is a decent pizza?

 

Does the question mark denote a bit of sarcasm? I'll eat pizza hut, once and a while, but rarely if ever by choice...

 

Pizza Hut is good for what it is. Pizzeria Uno's is good for what it is, but NYC style pizza is really a beast unto itself. In Boston, the best NYC pizza is Little Stevie's on Boylston St near Fenway. Slices the size of bedsheets, chewy crust, the perfect amount of grease...

I'd have to say Quizinos. They make the best subs in the world!!!

 

Pies - meat pies, fish pies, veg pies. But steak and cheese pies best of all. New Zealand is a nation of pie eaters - more than any other country I've been to.

We even used to have 'Georgie Pie' which was like Mc D's but sold pies, fries and shakes. It was a national chain until Mc D's bought them out and shut them down - they were that big of a deal.

The best pies in NZ are at the bakery 5 minutes walk down the road from my house - it's a nightmare.

 

I always loved the pasties in England... Yummy stuff...

 

Anyone mention White Castle?

 

I did initially... Had some belly bombers in St. Louis just the other day. I think we have a total of ONE in WI...

Everything I go there I think of Harold and Kumar!

I've never been anywhere that you can buy burgers and chicken wholesale. I think I got a bag of about 20 or something silly like that.

I'm with the others about the NYC pizza too. There's nothing like it. And there's nothing like a place that sells it for a $1 a slice in the building right next to your apartment No wonder I got so fat living there.

I've heard people attribute the taste to the local water supply (like yfs1) before. Something to do with polution in the hudson

That said, I've wanted to go to Chicago for something deep pan with a meat sauce.

 

Mc Donalds and KFC as well.

 

McDonalds..quite ok..

 

I certainly hope NYC tap water doesn't come out of the Hudson river. At least not nearby.

 

I can't even remember the last time I had McD's.

KFC in the states is about the worst food you can get.

Pizza around here is much...MUCH better.

 

Yeah, I know. MASHED POTATO!?! Anyways.

I'd LOVE to try Chigaco pizza. One day I'll visit for sure. Oh, and a proper Philly Cheese Steak in the right location.

...and throw in a New England clam chowder whilst I'm in the country.

 

Don't forget Maine lobster, Coney Island hot dogs, Idaho potatoes, Louisiana gumbo, Memphis barbeque.....and Belgian waffles?

 

Done the Coney Island hot dogs. But I've never tried to many southern foods. Okra scares me.

Oh, spearking of Belgian Waffles. The English Muffin is american invention I think.

Is "Good Eats" still on over there? I used to love that show.
