I've had two summerjobs.. each two weeks. Cutting grass and such stuffs. Worked with two hot females. Never learnt anything but it was all enjoying.

I would more likely get some fresh air, joke with my colleagues and workout on the same time.

Computer jobs is good to have on the spare time as long you work for yourself(so you can do what you want to do and not what others want you to do).

Right now I am and have been unemployed for more than 1,5 years.

We almost have the same experience on our first job man..
What's worse there was that it was an insurance company then; you know how hard it is to market insurance proposals to people.

    First job : Accountant

Taught me : A number of things, mainly that my graft was earning a bunch of partners lots of money of which I saw very little, I also did most of the work which they glanced over and then their name was put against the accounts to take the credit.

To summise : I had to leave and become self-employed.

My first job was when I was still at school. On a fishing boat.

    What it taught me:

    How far vomit can travel
Not to puke into the wind
You can barf non-stop for hours on end and still produce carrot chunks
Not to lean too far over the side of the boat with a boat-hook

I think what every job teaches you is how to communicate within the work force. No matter what your job is, there is something more than a paycheck ... before I've had my first job, I've had no clue how different the "real world" is from College.

Washing boats for people at our marina when I was 10 until about 15. And did'nt teach me much, people that have yachts tend to pay pretty well. So when I was in high school and got a job in retail it sucked, paid less, and I had a boss.

My first job I guess was cleaning my friends house for $7/hour during the summer of 04'. It wasn't a real job just a way to make money over the summer. Since I only worked a few hours I made less than $100. Also it was boring lots of cleaning and such. So I was essentially broke and one day and I learned you can make a lot more money on the internet, and buying google and apple stock. It taught me that if your jobs sucks make a job you like.

"never accept any job where your immediate supervisor is your employer's mother."

I cannot imagine what her poor daughter-in-law had to endure, as no one was ever good enough for sonny boy- everyone was "out to take advantage" of him.
