Ok, I know this is kind of stale, but I watched a TV program who brought this stale joke back up recently. So here's the deal.

"Your mother and your wife are drowning. Who would you save?"
(You can only save one)
If your mum and wife ask you this, how would you answer?

I can remember 2 good responses.
One is, "I'll save the mum and drown with the wife."

The other one I'll share later.

Tough question...many men dread to hear it...As I am not married I will skip it

To be serious,I'd go for my mum... (if my wifey and me are on the verge of divorce or she has not been faithful,then definitely yes )

Again,a question most men would love to walk away from and I unabashedly say that I am one of them

 

Technically, a wife is replacable.

id say go for both.

 

As a qualified lifeguard, I would advise against trying to recue two hysterical women. You'd risk your own life which is very romantic and all that but unless you really think there's an after life, it's probably not worth it.

Honestly guys, call your dad and ask him to save your mom and you save your wife or call for some help

 

I rearly wouldnt know.

I love my gf more than anything and you cant replace a mum.

This may sound wrong, but doesn't your wife have more life ahead of her naturally than your mom?
