Your Opinions on Ello

    Ello is a relative newcomer to the social network scene, and it recently made headlines. It has a very simple interface, and unlike Facebook, it has no ads and allows users to name themselves anything that they want. Does anyone here have an Ello account? What do you think of this budding social network?

    Personally, I think that Ello will fizzle out like other social networks have, but I could be wrong.

    I really hope it succeeds because I am really sick of Facebook's ads and privacy violations. The invite only is someone attractive, but somewhat of a turnoff. If it can get around that then hopefully it will do well.

    I got my invite a few weeks ago. At first the whole idea and interface looked weird for me, but know I'm really enjoying being on Ello
