I thought this craze had been going on for a while... We had an offer to resell these over 13 months ago but it's a bit too small ticket for my liking and I thought by now it'd be done to death but I seem to be mistaken....

I dont think they actually marketed the product heavily enough. The only place I had heard about them was from my mate. No-one else has ever talked about it to me until you. I haven't seen it on TV, heard about it on the radio or seen it in any magazines or newspapers.

People are still finding out about the product so there probably is still a market for it.

This is making me feel old, I got my PB over 4 years ago
I had to find out when the guy I had powerball competitions with, left for pastures new, to work out when I go it.

Must admit I'm surprised it never took off more as it's highly addictive. Is it still 25 quid, that did limit its appeal back then.

25 quid for a useful and addictive gadget isn't that much nowdays IMO. Can't even go out on a proper night for 25 quid here in London.

I've read that they'll release an all metal version soon, capable of 20K RPM. I don't know whether you checked out the video I linked to but just imagine the sound of a 20K spin! Awesome! Gotta get one of those. But need a LCD counter first. That little thing IS a ripoff @ 12 quid though. But I've set my mind on it now.

I think 20K RPM would rip your arm off and with a chainsaw sound effect to match .

I've broken the 10K barrier... My hands hurt though but it's too addictive. My record's on 10,799 now but hopefully will get 11K today.

I've got one, got it up to a little bit above 11.000. Don't remember the exakt number, will check when I get home. As its currently over 30 degres (celsius) here I suppose you'd have to glue it on to get it above 5k today.

Yep 32 degrees up here. I almost feel like it's wrong to be working in doors when the weather is so brilliant. Knowing my luck it will be fantastic weather till next Friday lol.

My powerball is one of those techno neon ones where the score appears magically but I've not been able to work it out yet. :( lol

While its spinning in your hand, relax the grip just a little and it will spinn w/o rotating, allowing you to read the score.

That will make sense to those who have tested a PB, and absolutely no sense to those who havn't :D

I got one for Chrismas. Hours of fun/pain!
I usually forget to switch on the readout before starting, do an amazing performance - then start curses because I can't record my brilliance :)

You can hold it with the opening facing up. Or you could crawl in underneath it and read the score :D

I know exaclty what you mean, you can hear by the sound of it that its a record breaking performance, then get it to slow down enough to see that you forgot to switch on the rpm-meter :(
