    Yeah avoid the Techno if you're inmpatient. Go for the Pro Neon's, the get the top speeds. Do go for the LCD display, else you won't know your score.

    Edit: The Techno has 5 LEDs in the actual ball inside which line up and based on the RPM go on and off. Because of the speeds it looks like it writes your score. It takes some serious training to get the technique right of showing the score, it's a difficult balancing act.

    It depends what you define as better.

    The ones with the LCD display will give you a higher score but the ones with the LED display look cool.

    I just want to be able to do it then read it. Don't really care too much about cool.

    What is the difference between neon and regular colors (except the obvious that they are a different color :cool: )

    Theres basically four different functionalities

    Basic - you get to spin it
    Light - it lights up as you spin it
    counter - you get to see your score
    "dynamic running subtitle" - it records your score but for the first few weeks you don't get to see it.

    The light and counter can be combined. Then there are different colors. Then there might be newer versions that I don't know about.

    I'd recommend the 250hz Pro Neon ones. Add a LCD counter and you have everything you need. Inclusing a bit of 'cool' :cool:

    Translation from my model denominations to current.

    Basic = regular
    Light = neon
    counter = pro
    "dynamic running subtitle" = techno

    :rolleyes:

    Go easy in the beginning or you'll end up having trouble diciplining your primate for a long time.

    Let the arm rest for half an hour or so and go again, it's almost impossible to improve in consecutive runs.
