YSM keyword bidding confusing

So, after I entered a certain keyword in with a budget of 10$ daily. They said that its recommended me to be 0.37 cents for that ads. Base on their estimate I could get 1,000 clicks in one month with 0.37 per click and $10x30 = $300 monthly.

However when I change my minimum bid to 0.10 cents per click, it said I will receive less than 140 clicks per month for the same price of $300.

Isn't it kinda odd? If I spend less, I suppose be pay less and more clicks instead of less clicks and more money. Its understandable that I spent less amount per click, my ads don't get too show to often so it gets less click per month but what is up with $300 per month still even if my bid is .10 per click?

 

Change the default bid to minimum.. that is $.10 and then increase that gradually...
